Let yourself be swept up by the liveliness of the Piazza di Spagna, with the splendid 18th Century Spanish Steps and the church Trinità dei Monti, and admire the famous streets of luxury shopping surrounding the center on your way to the enchanting Trevi Fountain. This Baroque marvel is always swarming with eager visitors desiring to visit the place that is the symbol of the Dolce Vita, the sweet life.
Then, walking along the charming streets of the historical center, you'll reach the ancient Pantheon Temple (2nd century BC) with the amazing open dome that is still the largest in the world.
Your walking tour ends at the splendor of Piazza Navona, built in the area of the ancient stadium of the Emperor Domitian, with, at the center, the perfectly preserved wonderful "Fountain of the four rivers", a masterpiece by Bernini.
After your tour you will have free time to appreciate, among many other things, the famous Roman cuisine by having lunch in one of the many inviting restaurants of the city center.
Your driver will then take you for a panoramic tour during which you can admire the most important monuments of Imperial Rome – the Colosseum (72 AD), symbol of the city, the archaeological area of the Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia, with the impressive Vittoriano monument. You'll then cross to the other side of the Tiber river to Saint Peter's Square, the center of catholic Christianity, with the splendid Basilica dominated by the dome designed by Michelangelo and surrounded by Bernini's monumental colonnade.
