This tour is an invitation to meet Peppino Impastato, the young political activist who opposed the Mafia and was killed for it: A fascinating figure, an icon of the restless spirit of youth. Listen to his story from the mouth of those who knew him. Retrace the "one hundred steps" that separated his house from that of his executioner. Go beyond clichés, and get to know Sicily beyond the surface.

One Hundred Steps: Discovering Peppino Impastato
Journalist, political activist, cultural animator, environmentalist, hippie, poet: Peppino Impastato was all this. Although raised in a Mafia family, he dared to break away from the culture of the clan represented by his father, denouncing the crimes and abuses of Cosa Nostra, and even taunting the powerful boss Gaetano Badalamenti by radio. His courageous actions cost him his life: Cosa Nostra had him executed in 1978. Peppino was just 30 years old.
